Position Summary

 

Lionbridge is actively seeking Project Managers to join our mission to Break Barriers, Build Bridges, and Localize Everything for the largest and most influential companies in the world.  Reporting to the Global Localization & Translation (GLT) Team, you will work with internal and external clients to manage the timely flow of localization projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects meet quality, turn-around time, and budget expectations.

Our Project Managers are the life blood of what brings these solutions to life and who maintain Lionbridge as the #1 Localization Company in the world.  We are in search of like-minded project management professionals to join our growing, well-orchestrated, and innovative team, who take pride in ensuring that projects not only meet but exceed expectations.

This is a Hybrid role based in our Mumbai, India office and will require a minimum of two working days on-site each week.

 

What You Will Do

  • Scope and quote projects for identified clients.
  • Plan and monitor projects to meet deadline, quality, and budget requirements.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations and serve as primary day-to-day contact for external clients.
  • Provide support and input to Sales and external clients, including education about the localization process, as required.
  • Collaborate with production teams to create, implement, and maintain appropriate client or project-specific procedures, solutions, checklists, and instructions.
  • Monitor and maintain project financials, including invoicing, revenue recognition, revenue forecasting, billings, and month-end activities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules, and processes to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to initiate and implement procedural changes and customized workflows.
  • Resolve questions and issues in a timely and effective manner for clients and internal teams.
  • Organize and participate in client meetings. (Quarterly Business Review Meetings, etc.)
  • Own vendor relationships to ensure they are content and that any expressed concerns within your scope are quickly and productively addressed. (Required for Project Manager role)
  • Maintain project tracking and follow up with production teams. (Required for Project Manager role)
  • Orchestrate and provide client deliverables to Global Program Manager, on-site manager. (Required for Project Manager role)
  • Craft budget proposals and oversee approval processes. (Required for Project Manager role)

 

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • 3+ years project management experience.  Localization experience is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and related tools, esp. MS Excel and Word.
  • Experience with XML formats would be a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • A process and quality-oriented mindset with the ability to execute tasks to achieve high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex and/or global projects.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with others in a hybrid-remote, multicultural, and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. (Required for Senior Project Manager role)
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. (Required for Senior Project Manager role)
