Project Manager – Audio Lead
Lionbridge Games is looking for an Audio Lead to join our team! The Audio Lead will be responsible for organizing audio production tasks and coordinating with global teams to help ensure the highest quality, with an empahsis on Latin American Spanish. You will work locally, while coordinating globally with teams around the world to help ensure the smooth operation of audio recordings. This role reports to the Studio Program Manager.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized strategic thinker and a proactive self-starter. You’re familiar with creating audio scripts, managing audio assets, the tools of the trade, working in a global environment, scheduling, and similar tasks related to audio production management. This position is suitable for individuals who have 3+ years previous experience in a similar role.
What You Will Do:
Organize and manage communication with the global project management team.
Prepare audio scripts and studio documentation for audio production.
Help manage voice talents, artistic Directors and Engineers schedules.
Help manage audio localization pipeline of projects, ensuring localization deliveries adhere to schedule milestones and quality requirements.
Act as primary owner for localization audio production for Latin American Spanish and prepare audio files recordings for the final delivery to the client.
Roll out processes and process improvements within local and remote teams, in line with Lionbridge process requirements.
Manage project risks associated with all audio localization production.
Report operational issues to studio manager and appropriate Lionbridge stakeholders.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
3+ years of experience within the audio recording industry
Expert experience with Pro Tools and other standard audio production tools
Experience with batch file management
Demonstrate strong computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
English and Latin American Spanish fluency required, both written and orally
Should be creative, flexible and have the ability to multi-task
Excellent negotiation and planning skills
Ability to work independently and trouble-shoot problems when they arise
Detail oriented and highly organized
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with various support groups
Experience in video game localization is a huge plus
Ability to work overtime as needed
