At Lionbridge Games, we are looking for a Technical Software Test Engineer to join our Testing Department.
What You Will Do
- Take responsibility for assigned testing areas.
- Act as an expert within assigned testing areas.
- Support the Technical Test Lead in test planning, team coordination, and software testing project management.
- Manage, supervise, and train a team of testers.
- Report test status and support project risk assessment based on schedule and project requirements.
- Create, execute, and update test cases.
- Gather feedback and provide suggestions for product improvements.
- Verify software compliance according to specifications.
- Test documentation according to given specifications.
- Report bugs in line with project requirements.
- Cooperate and communicate directly with customers and internal or external teams.
- Resolve basic problems encountered during the project.
- Share knowledge with other testing team members, including participation in internal training activities.
- Perform internal quality control activities.
- Participate in the tester recruitment process.
- Perform administrative tasks and other work-related activities assigned by the supervisor.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Good knowledge of testing methodologies.
- Working knowledge and experience with bug tracking tools.
- Ability to analyze logs.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one operating system or platform.
- Experience with functional and non-functional software testing.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinking.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good work organization.
- English at B2 level.
