Social Media Manager

The customer's Communications and Community team is part of the wider Publishing efforts for their projects's portfolio. They are responsible for all external communication efforts for both the studio and the ever-expanding game franchise. This includes community and social media management, content creation, and (studio) PR.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Social Media Manager, you:
• Are a skilled and strategic social media professional with experience managing and growing global brand channels.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of social media channels across multiple platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, X, Facebook.

You understand platform-specific best practices and tailor content accordingly to maximize reach, engagement, and brand consistency.

You will create and maintain a publishing schedule aligned with wider campaign and content strategies.

• Are a confident copywriter and visual storyteller.

You will write engaging, on-brand copy for social posts, ensuring alignment with our tone of voice and visual identity.

You will collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to brief, review, and publish high-quality assets.

You will ensure all social content adheres to Guerrilla and PlayStation brand guidelines.

• Use data to drive performance and inform future strategy.

You will regularly track, analyze, and report on content performance and audience insights across social platforms.

You will share key learnings with internal stakeholders and use them to continuously optimize channel performance and content effectiveness.

• Stay on top of trends and innovations in the digital and social space.

You are passionate about social platforms and proactively explore new formats, trends, and platform updates.

You will identify creative opportunities to engage players, creators, and fans in meaningful and innovative ways.

• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders.

You will work closely with the Community and Marketing teams to ensure consistency across campaigns and communications; collaborating with internal teams to ensure synergy across multiple channels.

You will liaise with platform partners (e.g., PlayStation Social, Meta, YouTube) to coordinate efforts and amplify online presence.

You will collaborate with third-party agencies or contractors as needed for content production and campaign support.

• Represent the project’s social presence at live events and key beats.

You will plan and coordinate real-time social coverage for major announcements and events (both online and in-person if needed).

You will help develop and execute social-first campaigns around product milestones and community celebrations.
