Senior Content Moderator
Content Moderator 3 (Senior) Position Summary As Content Moderator 3, you will be a subject matter expert responsible for overseeing the moderation of user-generated content in our games. You will lead by example, mentor junior moderators, and ensure that our community guidelines and standards are upheld to the highest degree.
What You Will Do • • Oversee and lead the moderation of user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, ensuring compliance with community guidelines and standards.
• • Identify, report, and resolve complex cases of inappropriate content, such as hate speech, harassment, and explicit material.
• • Mentor and train junior content moderators, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• • Develop and refine moderation processes and best practices in collaboration with the moderation team.
• • Provide detailed feedback to the development team on potential improvements to the moderation tools and processes.
• • Analyze trends in user-generated content to proactively address emerging issues and improve community safety.
• • Act as a liaison between the moderation team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on community standards.
• • Act as a lead's backup for the site where you work to ensure that the highest standard of work is maintained.
• • Work in all queues to ensure there is no slowdowns for the content moderation workflow. This is to include Moderation, Meditation, and Supermediation work as needed.
To Be Successful You Will Have • • 3-4 years of experience in content moderation or a related field.
• • Proven expertise in identifying and handling inappropriate content quickly and effectively.
• • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding and supporting junior team members.
• • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
• • Deep passion for gaming and extensive familiarity with various game genres and platforms.
• • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
• • In-depth understanding of community guidelines and standards in online environments.
