Security Lead

As the Security Lead at Lionbridge, you will oversee day-to-day security operations and lead a team of analysts responsible for identifying, mitigating, and responding to cyber threats across the organization. You will work cross-functionally to implement security best practices, guide risk-based decision-making, and ensure compliance with internal policies and global standards.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the security operations team, managing workload prioritization, escalation handling, and performance coaching
• Serve as a subject matter expert in threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Oversee daily monitoring of SIEM alerts, endpoint protection tools, and threat intelligence feeds
• Drive remediation efforts across IT, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to address vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
• Collaborate with stakeholders in legal, compliance, engineering, and operations to ensure security requirements are integrated into all business functions
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely evidence collection and policy alignment
• Maintain and enhance security documentation, playbooks, and team knowledge base
• Mentor and develop junior security team members, fostering skill growth and ownership

To Be Successful You Will Have:

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong working knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure), SIEM platforms, and endpoint detection tools
• Deep understanding of incident response lifecycle, threat modeling, and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
• Proven experience managing security programs, investigations, or cross-functional remediation projects
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (preferred)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
