LAB TECHNICIAN

As a Lab Technician at Lionbridge Games, you'll be an essential part of our mission to deliver epic gaming experiences. Bring your unique skills to help us keep our games at top-notch quality.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all testing team owned hardware.
  • Track hardware assignments, returns, replacements, and lifecycle status.
  • Oversee hardware procurement requests and coordinate with IT.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all hardware transactions and maintain accurate asset records.
  • Prepare and configure new devices for employees, including OS setup, required software installation, security configurations, and user account provisioning.
  • Perform routine hardware checks, updates, and troubleshooting before deployment.
  • Support hardware refresh cycles and coordinate device swaps with minimal disruption.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between testing teams and the IT department for technical issues, requests, and escalations.
  • Translate team needs into clear IT tickets and follow through until resolution.
  • Communicate IT updates, outages, and policy changes to relevant teams.
  • Partner with IT to ensure compliance with security standards, access controls, and equipment handling procedures.


To Be Successful You Will Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in game testing.
  • Ability to prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills, creativity, efficiency, attention to detail, and good work organization.
  • Strong academic or practical knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, software testing standards, strategies, and the software development cycle.
  • Adept with writing detailed concise bug reports.
  • Proven experience executing test cases; drafting and managing test cases for one or more features.
  • Experience with industry standard test software such as JIRA, TestRail, Confluence, or equivalents.
  • Experience running build files with software suites such as Visual Studio.
  • Practiced and analytical problem-solving approach.
  • Preferred higher education in technology.
