Lionbridge is looking for a responsible, efficient, and highly organized Project Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end management of multiple translation projects. You will have to assess, coordinate, assign, monitor, and deliver translation projects within a defined timeline and budget. You will be working closely with translators, project managers, in-house quality-control professionals, and clients.
What you will do
Project analysis, quotation preparation, budget and project planning, project process planning
Prepare the production documents
Track the project schedule, coordinate internal and external resources, manage TM and vocabulary, and solve problems in production
Actively communicate with the client, try our best to meet client demand, timely report project status to the client
Prepare task statement, communicate with project team members and partners, and resolve questions from the project team
Track and control the project cost, adjust the budget and do the financial settlement timely
Submit the satisfaction production to client
Summarize the experiences of project and fill the finished project
To be successful you will
Bachelor or higher degree in language/linguistics.
Proficient in both Simplified Chinese and English.
Knowledge of software localization cycle, software development life cycle, and or quality assurance practices, principles and methodologies
Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, email and Internet communications
Solid experience in writing project documents in a clear and concise manner (project plan, schedule, post-project report)
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and/or employees
Proven negotiation skills in dealing with delicate aspects of small/medium sized project proposals
Ability to draw up and read budgets
Experience in solving practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information
Must possess leadership, time management, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain group focus
Must demonstrate initiative and follow through on projects and on development of team skills and client relationships
