About The Role
At Lionbridge Games, we are looking for an experienced IT Manager who is ready to take ownership of a complex IT environment and operate at a high level of technical and operational excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for the stability, security, and performance of IT operations across a diverse infrastructure landscape (on-premise and cloud). You will go beyond maintaining systems - you will continuously challenge, optimize, and elevate how IT supports the business.
You will act as a technical leader and decision-maker, expected to navigate complexity, resolve critical issues, and set clear standards for how IT operates. At the same time, you will lead a team and drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.
This role is designed for someone who is results-driven, technically confident, and comfortable being challenged - a leader who takes responsibility for outcomes and is motivated by building IT environments that are robust, efficient, and built to scale.
What You Will Do
• Own and evolve the local IT infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and security at all times
• Create a frictionless IT environment that empowers developers, designers, and business teams to do their best work
• Lead local implementation of global IT strategy, adapting it to the needs of a dynamic gaming business
• Ensure strong security and compliance standards, protecting both company and player data
• Proactively monitor systems and resolve issues before they impact workflows or production timelines
• Lead, coach, and grow a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Act as the key escalation point for complex technical challenges
• Partner with global technology teams to influence architecture, tools, and innovation initiatives
• Oversee deployment of new systems, supporting scalability as teams and projects grow
• Build strong vendor relationships and negotiate solutions that balance performance, quality, and cost
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and every day brings new challenges
To Be Successful You Will Have
• Solid experience in IT operations leadership, ideally in fast-paced or tech-driven environments (gaming, software, digital products)
• Minimum 2-3 years as an IT Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure landscapes (on-premise, cloud, hybrid environments)
• Experience in defining and managing IT and security policies
• A hands-on leadership style - you're equally comfortable setting direction and solving problems
• A passion for building and leading teams, with the ability to motivate and develop talent
• Confidence working with stakeholders across engineering, production, and business teams
• Experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts
• Strong communication, ownership mindset, and the ability to operate under pressure
• Bonus: interest in gaming, game development environments, or creative tech ecosystems
