Hardware Engineer

Position Summary

Perform test failure reproduction in local lab, setup, execution, debug. Working with on/off-shore test engineers, project Technical Lead to facilitate issue resolution. Cooperate with our valued customer to develop new product introduction.

What You Will Do

•Soldering, board rework, troubleshooting, able to operate Lab equipment such as Scope/LA to support HPE G11/G12 servers
•Reliability engagement for server platforms and options to support HPE G11/G12 servers
•Server, options and rack equipment reliability assessment.
•Responsible for build/configuration of server and options racks used for test and debug by HPE Engineers.
•Software installation•Soldering, board rework, troubleshooting, able to operate Lab equipment such as Scope/LA to support HPE G11/G12 servers

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Hands-on experience with Ethernet
• Hands-on experience with Linux (Red Hat, SLES), Windows Server, or VMWare.
• Experience in configuring computer systems and effective troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding on test plans and test procedures.
• Regularly report the test failure and issue
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to analyze and solve problems
• Understanding of Test tools (such as Test plan on-line system and Issue tracking on-line system)
• Proactively resolve project challenges and facilitate knowledge transfer between team members.
