Application Engineer

Position Summary

Lionbridge seeks a highly skilled and experienced Managed Services Engineer 4 to design, implement, and support complex managed services solutions for our clients. The Engineer will be a technical expert, responsible for providing technical leadership, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. This role requires a deep technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology

What You Will Do

• Provide engineering evaluation and analysis of designs and applications of engines and components
• Provide design solutions to meet all requirements through a complete knowledge of the AEB or equivalent
• Solutions provided must meet the cost, quality, and delivery objectives of the customer
• Advise, edit, write, and review AEBs as required by the customer
• Test, acquire, and report application data as required by the customer
• Support project team with training, coaching, and leadership consistent with a senior position

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals including mechanics of materials, fluids, thermal, and physics
• Familiar with standards (ASME and SAE) as well as all application requirement
• Fundamentals of noise and vibration including measurement and analysis
• Team skills in training, coaching and supporting a common goal
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present the project results to the customer
• Technical problem solving skills and processes for resolving difficult customer problems
• Project management and organizational skills to support the project team including mentoring and training
• Ability to manage multiple projects and to prioritize a heavy workload in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• BSME or equivalent with at least 15 years experience in application engineering and related engineering design activities
