Position Summary 

Senior Software Engineer with DevOps Skills

Exp: 5+ Years hands-on development  

We are looking for a talented individual to work as a Senior Software Engineer on the technology project scrum teams.  

What You Will Do 

You will be a Senior Software Engineer, designing and developing applications in Python/PHP frameworks, deploying and supporting applications in on-premises and Azure environments, comfortable with reviewing code and making architectural decisions. Unit testing and refactoring is the norm in your day-to-day development activities. Educating and mentoring less skilled team members should come naturally.,  

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage AWS-based infrastructure using EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and EKS.
• Automation & CI/CD: Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate system deployments using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or GitLab CI.
• Scalability & Monitoring: Proactively monitor infrastructure, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend scalable solutions to maintain high availability and performance.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure costs using Auto Scaling, Reserved Instances, and rightsizing strategies.
• Software Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Python or PHP, integrating with cloud services and microservices architecture.
• Infrastructure Support: Support scalable, production-grade systems, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment of applications.
• Problem Solving: Quickly debug and resolve issues in infrastructure and software, particularly in emergency or high-stakes situations.

To Be Successful You Will Have  

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development (e.g., Python or PHP) or/and DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, EKS).
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) for container orchestration.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience with systems monitoring and alerting tools like CloudWatch, Graylog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and real-time failover principles.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to work under pressure to resolve issues quickly.
