Are you a tax professional who enjoys solving complex financial challenges and working across a global organization? Lionbridge is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our Corporate Tax team, supporting tax provision, compliance, and reporting activities across our international business. In this role, you'll work closely with U.S. and India-based colleagues to manage federal and multi-state tax requirements, support international tax initiatives, and ensure accurate financial reporting. You'll also have the opportunity to guide junior team members, improve tax processes, and contribute to projects that strengthen our global tax operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing tax compliance, problem-solving, and collaboration in a dynamic corporate environment.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare annual federal and state income tax provision calculations under ASC 740, including current and deferred tax computations, book-to-tax differences, uncertain tax positions, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and review federal and multi-state corporate income tax returns, estimated tax payments, and extensions while supporting international tax compliance activities.
  • Maintain deferred tax asset and liability roll forwards, tax provision workpapers, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Research federal and state tax regulations, respond to tax notices and audits, and evaluate legislative changes that may impact the company's tax positions.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and other internal teams on tax-related matters, including sales tax, 1099 reporting, business registrations, and special projects.
  • Partner with U.S. and India-based Corporate Tax colleagues, providing guidance to junior team members while identifying opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and increase operational efficiency.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, preferably with 2-5 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, corporate tax, or a combination of both; CPA or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ASC 740 income tax accounting, including current and deferred tax provisions, book-to-tax differences, and uncertain tax positions.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing federal and multi-state corporate income tax returns, with strong analytical and research skills to navigate complex, multi-jurisdictional tax requirements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work with detailed financial data; experience with OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, and KPMG's ITRA tool is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tax matters clearly, collaborate across global teams, and provide guidance to junior colleagues.
