We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Tester to join our team in Mexico City. This role is critical to ensuring the functionality, performance, and user experience of our web applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manual testing of both front-end and back-end systems, thrives in Agile environments, and can communicate effectively across teams to drive quality and reliability.
What You Will Do
Test feature tickets by analyzing requirements, developing test cases, and verifying acceptance criteria
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to clarify use cases and workflows
Create detailed and easy-to-read defect reports for developers
Manually test applications across desktop and mobile browsers, ensuring usability, accuracy, and performance
Contribute to QA documentation for manual smoke and regression testing
Communicate test progress and blockers with team leads to support sprint goals
Demonstrate a deep understanding of modern browser and web technologies
To Be Successful You Will Have
5+ years of experience in manual testing for complex web applications (front-end and back-end)
5+ years of experience working within Agile/sprint cycles
Experience testing API calls using Postman, Insomnia, or cURL
Strong defect documentation skills with attention to clarity and detail
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams or Slack)
Experience with locale and time zone testing
Ability to run basic SQL queries and interpret JSON data
Familiarity with Chrome Developer Tools for request analysis
Experience debugging with tools like Splunk or DataDog
