Prepare documents related to project production and instruction
Track the project schedule, coordinate internal and external resources, manage translation memory and terminologies, and solve problems in production
Actively communicate with the client and suppliers to meet the demand
Report project status to the client
Attend daily meetings with different stakeholders for situation update
Generate terminologies and other documents from client systems and distribute to necessary parties
Generate release of completed versions of localized texts
Categorize localization testing results and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for improvements
Ticket handling to resolve issues and enquiries
Participate in testing sessions under actual user environment and coordinate for validation
Qualification
Bachelor or higher degree in language/linguistics or other relevant disciplines with 5 years of professional experience in translations or localization industry.
Proficient in both Simplified Chinese and English.
Knowledge of software localization cycle, as well as quality assurance practices, principles and methodologies
Solid experience in writing project documents in a clear and concise manner (project plan, schedule, post-project report)
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and/or employees
Experience in solving practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain group focus
