The Technical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations across assigned work centers, ensuring efficient execution and operational excellence. This role serves as the primary point of contact for operational issues, process or build changes, data accuracy concerns, temporary process updates, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional communication.

The Supervisor is also responsible for monitoring, reporting, and driving improvements to key operational metrics while identifying new performance measures that enhance efficiency, support business objectives, and ensure customer expectations are consistently met.

What You Will Do

  • Provide supervision for 20 ~ 30 employees.
  • Responsible for hands-on supervision and coordination and of resources in assigned area.
  • Provide mentoring of team at all levels, partnering with site management and HR when necessary.
  • Provide a leadership role with the client in managing day to day operation of the line.
  • Ensure quality and timely deliverables on daily and monthly targets.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all standard and special processes are accurately and consistently implemented across all shifts.
  • Participate in ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Coordinates capacity and build needs across multiple areas and participates with counterparts to ensure smooth operations between organizations.
  • Provides Project Manager Weekly Status Report (WSR).
  • Responsible for coordination of resources in assigned area to meet the testing schedule.
  • Compiles shift reports and analyzes for operational trends and gaps
  • Assist in identifying key quality issues, recommending solutions and verifying the resolutions
  • Recommend Process Improvements and Solutions both operationally as well as organizationally.
  • Partner with other Supervisors in ensuring cross training and position coverage across engagement.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Supervisory experience of a large team in a testing environment.
  • A strong understanding of the product development life cycle
  • Must possess leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proactively mentor, assist and/or direct others.
  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions such as process descriptions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information.
  • Experience in working with employees, management and/or HR to resolve personnel issues
  • Understanding of quality assurance practices, principles, and methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing Techniques
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and develop effective business solutions
