IT Workplace Lead, Games

At Lionbridge Games , we are looking for an experienced IT Workplace Lead who will take ownership of our workplace IT area, with a strong focus on hardware, end-user services, and daily IT operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that devices, equipment, and user-facing IT services run smoothly and efficiently. You will lead a team delivering day-to-day IT support and hardware services, while continuously improving processes and standards.

This is a hands-on, operational role for someone who enjoys working close to technology and people - optimizing how IT services are delivered rather than driving large-scale transformation initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Lead and support a team responsible for hardware and end-user IT services
• Oversee the full lifecycle of IT equipment (procurement, deployment, maintenance, refresh, decommissioning)
• Ensure efficient day-to-day IT operations and user support, maintaining high service quality
• Monitor the performance and availability of workplace IT services and proactively address issues
• Maintain and improve hardware standards and processes across the organization
• Manage IT asset inventory and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand user needs and improve IT service delivery
• Support IT security and compliance standards in the area of end-user devices and infrastructure
• Work with external vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness of hardware and services
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and user experience

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Experience in managing IT operations, ideally focused on workplace IT, hardware, or end-user services (knowledge of gaming hardware i.e., mobiles, game consoles would be considered as an advantage)
• Previous experience in a team lead or managerial role, including building or developing teams
• Strong understanding of hardware environments and device lifecycle management
• Experience working with IT asset management and inventory processes
• Hands-on approach and ability to operate effectively in a support / operations environment
• Experience collaborating with finance teams (e.g. budgeting, asset management, cost control) is a strong plus
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
