IT Inventory and Support Manager (Games)

AIM OF THE ROLE

                                                                                                                                                                     

The IT Inventory and Support Manager (Games) will be responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects related to our inventory management system and leading group of on-site IT specialists. This role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring project milestones are met, and implementing effective inventory management solutions to optimize operations. Additionally, the role includes team leadership, end user support, asset management, and purchase order creation responsibilities.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES

 

  • Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects focused on inventory management, from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • System Implementation: Oversee the implementation of inventory management systems, including software selection, customization, and integration with existing systems.

  • Team Leadership: Provide management direction to the local IT team, focusing on proper ticket and KPI handling, while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Asset Management: Manage and track company assets, ensuring accurate records and optimal utilization. Implement asset management strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Purchase Order Creation: Oversee the creation and processing of purchase orders related to inventory management. Ensure timely and accurate procurement of necessary resources.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and finance, to understand inventory management needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

  • Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure effective utilization of inventory management systems. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies related to inventory management and IT systems.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

 

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management and IT on-site support management with a focus on inventory management systems.

  •  

    Technical Skills: Proficiency in ticketing and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Zendesk) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA). Experience with AssetExplorer or EZOffice preferred.

  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are preferred. 

  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, a related field or relevant work experience.
