Lionbridge is looking for a technically strong and detail-driven Full Stack Senior Developer to support the development and enhancement of scalable digital applications. This role focuses on both front-end and back-end engineering, requiring proficiency in modern Java-based microservice architectures and responsive front-end frameworks. You’ll play a key role in delivering innovative solutions while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and QA teams.
What You Will Do
Implement and maintain scalable full stack applications using modern Java and JavaScript frameworks
Build and integrate microservices, RESTful APIs, and backend components using Spring Boot and Java
Design and manage relational databases and data structures (SQL and JSON)
Develop responsive front-end features using React, Angular, or Next.js
Ensure clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and security
Participate in code reviews, system design sessions, and agile sprint planning
Use GitLab and Docker for CI/CD workflows, containerization, and deployments
Collaborate with product managers and UX designers using tools like Jira and Confluence
Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and support across the stack
Contribute to a positive team environment and share knowledge with peers
To Be Successful You Will Have
4–6 years of hands-on experience in full stack application/product development
2–4 years of experience developing microservices, RESTful APIs, and system integrations
Strong backend focus (approx. 60%) including:
Java, Spring Boot, Caching, Kafka messaging, JPA, Logging
Database experience (relational and JSON) with SQL proficiency
Frontend development experience (approx. 40%) using:
React, Angular, or Next.js (minimum 2 years)
Familiarity with DevOps tooling:
GitLab, Docker, Gradle
Experience working with product and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with global teams and interface with North American leadership.
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally across time zones to support knowledge transfer and drive alignment between regional and global stakeholders.
Comfortable working in Agile development environments
