Direct Sales Representative - AI & Machine Learning Are you a results-driven sales professional motivated by building relationships and driving growth in innovative technology spaces? Lionbridge is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to support revenue growth across our AI & Machine Learning solutions by engaging enterprise buyers, advancing opportunities, and partnering across teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
In this role, you'll own defined segments of the sales motion-prospecting, discovery, and opportunity development-while collaborating with senior sellers on larger, more complex enterprise initiatives.
What You Will Do Pipeline Development & Prospect Engagement
- Identify, research, and engage enterprise prospects within assigned industries or territories.
- Execute targeted outbound outreach to initiate conversations and uncover new opportunities.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline focused on qualified, opportunity-rich engagements.
Sales Execution & Deal Advancement
- Lead discovery conversations to understand customer objectives, challenges, and AI use cases.
- Advance opportunities through early-to-mid sales stages with discipline and accuracy.
- Partner with senior Account Executives and Sales Directors on complex or multi-stakeholder deals.
- Support solution positioning, proposal development, and customer follow-up.
Collaboration & Solution Alignment
- Work closely with Sales, Solutions, and Operations teams to align customer needs with AI data offerings.
- Contribute to account strategy discussions and opportunity planning.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, business-focused value conversations.
Forecasting & Sales Operations
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Follow established sales processes while continuously refining selling approach and execution.
Market Awareness & Brand Representation
- Stay informed on trends in AI, machine learning, and data services to enhance buyer conversations.
- Represent Lionbridge with professionalism, credibility, and consistency across all engagements.
To Be Successful You Will Have

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development-ideally within technology, data, or professional services.

Sales Capability: Demonstrated success in prospecting, discovery, and opportunity progression.

Commercial Acumen: Ability to understand customer challenges and connect solutions to business outcomes.

Communication: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills across stakeholder levels.

Execution Focus: Organized, disciplined approach to managing pipeline, follow-ups, and priorities.

Tools: Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and modern sales enablement tools.
