Compliance Software Test Engineer At Lionbridge Games, we are looking for a Compliance Software Test Engineer - Games to join our Games Testing team.
In this role, you will support certification testing projects and assist the Game Testing Project Coordinator in client communication and project coordination. You will be responsible for an assigned area of the game, support test planning, coordinate certification testing activities, report test status, and help ensure that games meet certification requirements and project standards.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced compliance game testing professional with strong knowledge of the video game market, testing methodologies, certification processes, and certification requirements.
What You Will Do
- Take responsibility for an assigned area of the game.
- Support planning and coordination of certification testing activities within the assigned area.
- Report test status and assess project risks based on scope, schedule, and project requirements.
- Support the creation of test plans, with a focus on certification requirements.
- Create, execute, and update test cases.
- Verify software compliance and test electronic documentation according to provided specifications.
- Report bugs in line with project guidelines.
- Cooperate with the Game Testing Project Coordinator, clients, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery.
- Resolve basic problems encountered during the project.
- Act as an expert within the assigned game area.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving processes within the Games Testing Department.
- Continue developing knowledge of testing methodologies, certification processes, and the video game market.
- Share knowledge with other testing team members and support internal training activities.
- Support recruitment activities for project teams when needed.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- At least 2 years of experience in compliance game testing.
- Strong knowledge of the video game market and testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of certification processes and certification requirements.
- Fluency in English.
- Good command of test tracking and test support tools.
- Good command of MS Office.
- Very good interpersonal skills.
- Creativity, accuracy, and a systematic approach to work.
- Good work organization.
- Nice to have: higher education in IT, technology, or a related technical field.
