About the Job: The successful candidate will have experience in executing moderate to complex tasks under limited supervision. Experience in reporting test results/observations and adhering to process requirements is required. The selected individual will have a proven track record of quality improvement and process control throughout the area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate will act as back up for the Tech II when required to do so in certain areas of responsibility when the Tech II is not available. Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Job Requirements/Skills: Read and understand all documentation related to tasks/test requests. Perform setup and verification of test, equipment, and process.
Execute tests per defined test requests and test plans.
Perform tasks to assist other technicians and engineers following instructions.
Enter test data in a database or appropriate systems/formats.
Ensure accuracy of data, process adherence, and test execution.
Monitors tests and data to determine failures and non-typical results and communicates appropriately
Actively engages and interacts with stakeholders and communicates information as requested.
Follow security, safety, and testing procedures for all work performed.
Responsible for working with LB management in continuous improvement and documentation creation, change and maintenance
Work of other duties as assigned
About You: Additional Skills/Experience Preferred: ***6 months to 1 year of skills/experience with the following:
Intermediate computer knowledge including Word, Excel, and Access and ability to quickly learn new proprietary software.
Ability to multitask
Experience working with prototype printers in a lab or test facility
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Demonstrated accuracy on detail-oriented or repetitive job assignments
Organizational and time management skills
Positive attitude
Ability to work with others
Punctual and dependable
Experience in setting up printers to test using various test tools and PC configurations.
Understanding of the Scientific Method
Understanding of process characterization methodologies and ability to write macros preferred
Education Qualifications: High School diploma required. AA or AS in Technical Field preferred
