Test Automation Engineer (Games)

Lionbridge Gaming is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our fast-growing Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge and professional experience in games test automation and test framework development, great interpersonal skills and proficiency in algorithms and data structures.



Responsibilities:
  • Functional testing, bug reporting;
  • Identifying test cases eligible for automation;
  • Implementing automation for test cases using existing frameworks;
  • Investigating and reporting on product issues discovered by automation;
  • Work in partnership with Client's internal QA and Dev teams.


Requirements:
  • Fluent English;
  • Communication skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to work under supervision;
  • Technical awareness - knowledge of basic OS concepts like processes, filesystems, logging, messaging;
  • Basic competence within at least 1 scripting language: Python (preferred), JavaScript, PowerShell, Lua;
  • Very good interpersonal skills (presentation and written communication skills are essential to build partnerships across offices around the world).


Not required, but would be an asset:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
  • Unit testing, mocking;
  • Coding experience in C++ or C# or Java;
  • Proficiency with a broad range of data structures, algorithms;
  • Test automation frameworks like Selenium, Winium or Appium;
  • Experience in game development lifecycle;
  • ISTQB certificate.
