Lionbridge Gaming is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our fast-growing Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge and professional experience in games test automation and test framework development, great interpersonal skills and proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
Responsibilities:
Functional testing, bug reporting;
Identifying test cases eligible for automation;
Implementing automation for test cases using existing frameworks;
Investigating and reporting on product issues discovered by automation;
Work in partnership with Client's internal QA and Dev teams.
Requirements:
Fluent English;
Communication skills;
Attention to detail;
Ability to work under supervision;
Technical awareness - knowledge of basic OS concepts like processes, filesystems, logging, messaging;
Basic competence within at least 1 scripting language: Python (preferred), JavaScript, PowerShell, Lua;
Very good interpersonal skills (presentation and written communication skills are essential to build partnerships across offices around the world).
Not required, but would be an asset:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
Unit testing, mocking;
Coding experience in C++ or C# or Java;
Proficiency with a broad range of data structures, algorithms;
Test automation frameworks like Selenium, Winium or Appium;
Experience in game development lifecycle;
ISTQB certificate.
