Technical Writer - Clinical Research Reference Manuals

We at Lionbridge are seeking a well-rounded candidate who has solid documentation development skills with a background creating technical support materials, preferably in the medical or clinical laboratory research field. The preferred candidate will have at least 3+ years of content development experience, and familiarity with standard authoring tools and content management systems, and the ability to learn new tools quickly. As well, the preferred candidate should be flexible to rapid project changes, be able to work independently, and be well-organized.

What you will do:

• Analyze request specifications to determine content needed for lab guides
• Effectively communicate with project team and customer project managers
• Adhere to the customer's templates, standards, and reference documents
• Proactively manage own time and assignments

To be successful you will have:

• BA degree or equivalent experience
• Experience developing documentation for medical or clinical research technicians, such as lab guides and other support content
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio (intermediate knowledge) and Word (advanced knowledge)
• Experience working with Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Experience with one or more content management systems
• Experience with lab documentation development specifically for medical or clinical research
