We are searching for an IT Support Specialist to join our team! You will use your hands-on IT expertise within a team engaged in providing hardware and software support to Lionbridge employees in the Americas region. You will assist your colleagues by providing escalated support of hardware and software assets and inventories; providing escalated support for desktops and laptops, as well as limited providing support for servers and networking equipment. In addition to support, you will be a part of project teams for implementing new technology.

What You Will Do:
  • Follow and build on policies revolving around accounts and onboarding practices
  • Aid in requests and guidance from other team members on server and networking
  • Play a supporting role in building, configuring and shipping servers and networking equipment in accordance with departmental standards
  • Provide escalated support for local and remote hardware and software support for Lionbridge employees and partners in the Americas region based on ticket management in the ticketing system
    • Resolve user-identified problems through troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and solution implementation
    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain all hardware and software-related issues on-site and remotely
  • Assist in documenting IT technical instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Ensure inventory and tracking system is always up to date

To Be Successful You Will Have:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in hardware and software support
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with all levels of the organization
  • Experience with Active Directory, network connectivity devices, and server and server software management practices
  • Experience with IT security best practices
  • Understanding of ITIL fundamentals and practices
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
