Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced technical program manager who enables scale through process and system improvements. Technical program manager will focus on enabling tools, system, and infrastructure to accelerate the content development lifecycle.

This role requires strong communication skills, task delivery/management, people management and working with key stakeholders to gather business requirements related to content production operating model.

The responsibilities include:
  • Work with key stakeholders to gather business requirements for content production operating model.
  • Delivers conceptual onboarding, repo administration, content engineering across the Set Up, Publish and Maintain phases of the technical content lifecycle
  • Onboard new conceptual content document sets
  • File conversions, metadata validation, content migration, subscription management
  • Assist with resolving ambiguities and errors reported by various tools. Examples include terminology issues, false positive identification, bug fix application, and repository configuration support
  • Enabled system accounts and added pull request labels for a requested repo
  • Repair and remove broken links
  • Communicate effectively on the progress with stakeholders.
  • Own the metrics for project success. Define, measure and report on these metrics.
  • Learn and adopt relevant new technologies, tools, methods, and processes.
  • Ability to support and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment simultaneously.
  • People management responsibilities


Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code/repos (e.g., simple documentation, simple web development]
  • Familiarity with the following tools Microsoft Office/Teams, GitHub, Visio, project/program management tools and technical documentation websites
  • Demonstrate understanding software engineering, software development, or project management fundamentals that affect code implementation and customer experience
  • Familiarity with managing schedules and nurturing cross-group collaboration
  • Demonstrate skills in articulating the business and customer needs
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Self-motivated, responsive, and dedicated to driving success.
  • Ability to learn new topics quickly
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States for entire duration of the cohort. Immigration sponsorship will not be provided by the employer
