Work Schedule: Swing Monday through Thursday 4:30pm to 2:30am

Essential Job Functions:
  • Demonstrate leadership ability to assist the supervisor in directing, coaching, mentoring team members that include, but are not limited to, work performance; WIP flow; materials, process and product quality issues escalation; team communication; production outs/build assignments.
  • Assist in coordinating work orders by priorities.
  • Assist in training and cross-training new and existing employees.
  • Aids in enforcing company policy, safety, quality and productivity guidelines.
  • Re-assigns team member/s to different work areas/zones when needed.
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist the supervisor with any quality issues throughout the production and/or test areas.
  • Communicate with the supervisor on a daily basis any anticipated problems with workload demands or schedule adjustments/recovery plan or any other problem with staffing.
  • Be able to perform Assembly/Test technician tasks within the designated area of production/test when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor and/or manager.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Able to exercise good judgment when dealing with productivity, company policy, safety, standards, and accuracy.
  • Team player - able to work with people at all levels professionally and courteously
  • Able to accept constructive feedback and implement improvements based upon such feedback.
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills
  • Able to effectively deal with change and shifting priorities


EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILLS:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required)
  • Experience in Manufacturing Environment and/or R&D: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Knowledge in continuous improvement practices (Preferred)
  • Strong Computer Skills: Microsoft products experience preferred - Outlook-Word-Excel- Power Point.
  • Experience in working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Cruise line Process Technician experience preferred
