The Lionbridge Shift Lead Technician works to manage a particular shift engaged in the execution of R&D testing and/or proto assembly lines, accurate identification, characterization and communication of events which occur during their shift.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with the Team members both Lionbridge and HP to ensure that the assigned tests are properly executed.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all standard and special processes are accurately and consistently implemented.
  • Mentor Team members in their roles and assist them in learning necessary skills to improve understanding and grow competencies as they learn.
  • Responsible for the overall accuracy and quality of services provided to HP on shift.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring the progress of execution on shift.
  • Provides Lionbridge Technical Supervisor with daily status of execution and operations and advises of issues, problems or concerns which jeopardizes, the overall Quality or deliverables or the safe and orderly operation of your shift.
  • Provide all required data, reports and special requests as requested on time.
  • Identify and troubleshoot processes, materials, or equipment related issues. Recommend solutions to Technical Supervisors and Engineering.
  • Ensure adherence to the Rules and Guidelines as implemented by management.
  • Act immediately to modify behavior which is inappropriate, disorderly, gives the perception or in fact creates a hostile work environment, violates the Rules and Guidelines or jeopardizes our standing with our customer.
  • Act as safety contact person during the shift and immediately reports any safety concerns or incidents to Lionbridge Site Safety person-in-charge.
  • Perform all additional duties as required by the Project Manager and Supervisor.


Basic Qualifications
  • Requires completion of a high school diploma, General Education Development (GED) or equivalency.
  • Associates or bachelor's degree is a preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years technical experience in R&D, product test development, manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, fosters teamwork and promotes a positive work environment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to network and develop rapid response paths for critical issue resolution.
  • Able to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Possess strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Project Management background and skill is a plus.


Working Conditions

C an include:
  • Day, Swing or Evening shift, and Weekends.
