The Senior Designer is responsible for the creation of all online visual design, illustration, animation, information display, Identity and icon design for the Internet and interactive platforms. They effectively communicate and coordinate with the information architect, writer and production artists to ensure that the visual design communicates the desired message, and functions successfully for varying technical and performance specifications. The candidate must be capable of leading the creative aspects of a project and have demonstrated strong business acumen. From concept through execution, this candidate will improve the user experience of our clients by bringing the brand to life and keeping it consistent across all the various touchpoints.
Works closely with subject-matter experts, attends project meetings, manages his/her project hours along with the Project Manager, and recommends and produces graphical improvements to the customer. To design the basic graphic layouts, templates and create graphics based on the project requirement.
Business and project needs will determine the exact nature of the tasks to be performed. Core responsibilities include:
Create new fresh concepts and original designs from conception to delivery based on client specifications, needs, and brand image
Managing all graphic design tasks, refining projects, and drafts, and generating creative ideas for social media, infographics, info sheets, PowerPoint presentations, animated content
Liaise with other members of the graphic design team to maximize creativity and excellence in performance and deliver
Ensuring brand consistency throughout various marketing projects
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Extensive knowledge of graphic design, styles, and techniques
Expert-level proficiency with design tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint)
Creative with the ability to make designs from the scratch
Have good knowledge of corporate branding, digital media, and color theory
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members
Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English
Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
High soft skills level to effective negotiation with Stakeholders involved in a project
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain group focus
3 to 5 years of experience working in similar roles.
Portfolio with design projects. We require work samples to apply for this position
Education and/or experience
BA degree in Graphic Design or Media. May be considered equivalent specializations and expertise.
Past work either as an in-house designer or at a marketing agency
