Solution Architect - Games and Entertainment

Lionbridge Gaming is looking for a skilled and passionate Solution Architect to lead and participate in the development of innovative solutions and pricing models to support the complex challenges our customers, and the industry at large, are facing.

As a Lionbridge Gaming Solution Architect, you'll become an integral member of a global sales and operational team chartered with helping game developers and publishers, hardware makers, platform owners and engine developers bring their dreams to market, on time and at quality. You will develop cutting-edge solutions, leveraging technical competency, process innovation, cost savings, as well as ensuring that we continuously improve our wide range of services in this fast-paced field. By analyzing evolving customer requirements, you will identify industry trends and opportunities to propose and deliver new and evolutionary, high-value solutions, ensuring our customers deliver the best experiences to their players, reliably.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

• You will lead and participate in the development of proposals and pricing models for complex or innovative solutions in cooperation with Sales and Operations
• You will evaluate ROI and other economic models to substantiate proposed solutions
• In partnership with Sales, you will engage and consult with customers to understand needs, gather requirements, and present solutions, processes or technologies as a subject matter expert
• You will diagnose business needs, analyze business processes, data flows, IT / technical artifacts and extract understanding of how the system or business process works as input into projects / solutions
• You will evaluate, understanding and communicate the merit, risk and viability of the solution(s) proposed to meet the objectives of the business
• You will perform competitive analysis and industry research
• You will support and develop tools to support the solutioning process as well as aid sales enablement
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• You are highly motivated, creative, proactive and solution-oriented
• You have 3+ years' experience in game development or production
• You have a demonstrated ability to think outside the box, making sense of disparate pieces and limited information
• You are clear, concise and natural in communication and presentation, targeting all levels of a business
• You have a proven ability to establish yourself as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to internal teams, partners and customers
• You have a proven ability to negotiate with, and influence senior leadership
• You have a working knowledge of common business and finance models, contracts and budget management
• You have a systematic and disciplined approach to tracking deliverables
• You have an advanced understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:

• Experience in Solution Development, Pre-sales Consulting or Global Program Management
• Ability to work in a high performing team environment
• Working knowledge or experience with Games QA, Games Localization, Games Audio Production, Player Support or other related functions
• Experience working with and leading geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams
• Willingness and ability to travel
