Lionbridge Gaming is seeking a Software Test Team Leader to join our fast-growing Games Technology Cloud R&D organization responsible for building technology ecosystem supporting games production flows. The goal of the organization is to create an innovative service, which can be accessed globally in SaaS model, allowing developers and publishers improve their production and maintenance processes in different areas. The Software Test Team Leader (STTL) is a key role in enabling Lionbridge to be successful in the Games Technology Service business. On this position you will be leading a group of small agile/scrum team of engaged testers, both manual and automation, covering wide range of testing types, from fuctional, thru performance to reliability validation, who focus on different products we are building to serve our wide range of customers from gaming industry. Being a STTL in our Games Technology Cloud R&D organization, you will have a great possibility to mix your hard skill by delivering software testing tasks and being a testing consultant to make sure we are all on rails to deliver great and modern solutions which just works , together with securing that your team members gets appropriate level of self-development possibilities by enabling them access to knowledge, giving ability to knowledge sharing and being open for new research tasks. You will be in charge on technical evaluation of your team members and reporting the resource needs of any kind to effectively deliver the product.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Lead the testing agile/scrum team focused on verification of new products our organization delivers;
Making sure the test team technical decisions are executed according to priorities and in the right order to achieve the goals;
Cooperation with Program Manager to keep progress according to the plan, giving the merit support in case of issues with project objectives to solve them;
Being consultant for other team members in case of technology issues and/or making sure the issues will be handled appropriately collectively with other team members;
Contribution in pure testing tasks - both manual and automation, to keep the high level of software testing skills and to enable the consultancy role;
First point of contact for technology knowledge transfers or getting new responsibilities for the team;
Onboarding of new commers in the technology nuances of or processes and product details;
Making sure the team gets appropriate level of self-development possibilities;
Evaluation of team members performance;
Reporting the resource needs to effectively validate and deliver the products.
3+ years experience in software testing role (regular / senior tester level);
1+ years experience in technical consultancy / management / team lead role;
Functional and system level testing knowledge;
Manual and automation techniques / approaches / philosophy knowledge;
Agile/scrum model in software production and validation processes knowledge;
Automation testing frameworks and tools knowledge - any of the following: Selenium, Appium, PyTest, Locust, Puppeteer, Lighthouse or other;
Test reporting, data warehousing and visualization tools - eg. Grafana.
Nice to have:
Cloud services knowledge / basic DevOps skills;
Basic networking skills;
Basic linux skills.
