Lionbridge is seeking a Software Developer Engineer in Test to join our fast-growing SDET team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge and professional experience in games test automation and test framework development, great interpersonal skills and proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
Identify test cases eligible for automation;
Investigate and report on product issues discovered by automation;
Implement and execute automation for test cases using existing frameworks;
Instrument product code to improve its testability;
Work on design/coding/maintenance/testing of tools & frameworks for automated testing and reporting;
Write technical documentation for tools;
Remain current on software testing best practices and industry trends;
Monitor software to detect and root cause code errors;
Mentor Test Automation Engineers.
2+ years of relevant experience;
Unit testing, mocking;
Professional coding experience in C++ or C# or Java;
Proficiency with a broad range of data structures, algorithms;
Fluency in English;
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
Very good interpersonal skills; presentation and written communication skills are essential to build partnerships across offices around the world;
Creativity, efficiency, attention to detail.
Not required, but would be an asset:
Professional coding experience in other programming language;
Test automation frameworks like Selenium, Winium or Appium;
Behavioral Driven Development / Cucumber / Gherkin;
Major consoles devkits experience;
Experience in game development lifecycle.
