Lionbridge Gaming is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our fast-growing Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge and professional experience in games test automation and test framework development, great interpersonal skills and proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
Responsibilities:
Reading technical documentation to work with 3rd party tool API;
Implementing microservices based on planned architecture;
Creating a basic UI prototype;
Configuring various AWS systems together;
Monitoring the state of lab VMs and services running in it;
Analyzing logs to provide analytics and insight into 3rd party tool state/progress.
Requirements:
Fluent English;
Communication skills;
Attention to detail;
Ability to work as a member of a software development team;
Highly developed technical communication;
Competence within at least 1 scripting language: Python (preferred, python2 and python3), JavaScript, PowerShell, Lua, Bash;
Competence within C# or Golang;
Experience working with and designing REST APIs;
Very good interpersonal skills (presentation and written communication skills are essential to build partnerships across offices around the world).
Not required, but would be an asset:
Knowledge of Git;
Knowledge of Windows Platform, SQL, HTML, Elasticsearch;
Knowledge of AWS especially lambdas, S3, cognito, SQS, IAM;
Knowledgeable in Microservice architecture/design;
Experience in game development lifecycle.
