Software Development Engineer in Test (Games)

Lionbridge Gaming is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our fast-growing Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge and professional experience in games test automation and test framework development, great interpersonal skills and proficiency in algorithms and data structures.

Responsibilities:

• Reading technical documentation to work with 3rd party tool API;
• Implementing microservices based on planned architecture;
• Creating a basic UI prototype;
• Configuring various AWS systems together;
• Monitoring the state of lab VMs and services running in it;
• Analyzing logs to provide analytics and insight into 3rd party tool state/progress.

Requirements:

• Fluent English;
• Communication skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work as a member of a software development team;
• Highly developed technical communication;
• Competence within at least 1 scripting language: Python (preferred, python2 and python3), JavaScript, PowerShell, Lua, Bash;
• Competence within C# or Golang;
• Experience working with and designing REST APIs;
• Very good interpersonal skills (presentation and written communication skills are essential to build partnerships across offices around the world).

Not required, but would be an asset:

• Knowledge of Git;
• Knowledge of Windows Platform, SQL, HTML, Elasticsearch;
• Knowledge of AWS especially lambdas, S3, cognito, SQS, IAM;
• Knowledgeable in Microservice architecture/design;
• Experience in game development lifecycle.
