Lionbridge Gaming is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our fast-growing Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge and professional experience in games test automation and test framework development, great interpersonal skills and proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
Responsibilities:
Identifying test cases eligible for automation
Implementing automation for test cases using existing frameworks
Investigating and reporting on product issues discovered by automation
Supervised implementation and maintenance of test frameworks and tooling
Work in partnership with Client's internal QA and Dev teams
Requirements:
Fluent English.
Communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work under supervision.
Knowledge of basic OS concepts like processes, filesystems, logging, messaging.
Competence within at least 1 scripting language: Python (preferred), JavaScript, PowerShell, Lua.
May have basic competence with 1 object-oriented programming language: C#, C++, Java.
Basic understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Experience with bug tracking tools.
Experience with QA processes, test scope requirements and testing methods.
Knowledge of one version control system: Perforce, Git, SVN or similar.
Very good interpersonal skills (presentation and written communication skills are essential to build partnerships across offices around the world);
Not required, but would be an asset:
Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
Unit testing, mocking;
Coding experience in second language C++ or C# or Java;
Test automation frameworks like Selenium, Winium or Appium;
Experience in game development lifecycle.
ISTQB certificate;
