Senior Test Automation Engineer (Games)

Lionbridge Gaming is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our fast-growing Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge and professional experience in games test automation and test framework development, great interpersonal skills and proficiency in algorithms and data structures.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying test cases eligible for automation
• Implementing automation for test cases using existing frameworks
• Investigating and reporting on product issues discovered by automation
• Supervised implementation and maintenance of test frameworks and tooling
• Work in partnership with Client's internal QA and Dev teams

Requirements:

• Fluent English.
• Communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under supervision.
• Knowledge of basic OS concepts like processes, filesystems, logging, messaging.
• Competence within at least 1 scripting language: Python (preferred), JavaScript, PowerShell, Lua.
• May have basic competence with 1 object-oriented programming language: C#, C++, Java.
• Basic understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with bug tracking tools.
• Experience with QA processes, test scope requirements and testing methods.
• Knowledge of one version control system: Perforce, Git, SVN or similar.
• Very good interpersonal skills (presentation and written communication skills are essential to build partnerships across offices around the world);

Not required, but would be an asset:

• Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
• Unit testing, mocking;
• Coding experience in second language C++ or C# or Java;
• Test automation frameworks like Selenium, Winium or Appium;
• Experience in game development lifecycle.
• ISTQB certificate;
