Senior Software Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Lionbridge is seeking a talented individual to work as a Senior Software Engineer. You will be the part of team that develops software to connect clients to Lionbridge's world-class translation technology. Also crucial for building new components that help modernize Lionbridge's technology stack. We are looking for high performers that consistently demonstrate an unusual level of commitment, competence, and creativity.

Job Responsibilities

• coding of new features and components
• Writing and delivering correct and well-designed software components in C#, AngularJS.
• Working cooperatively in a team of engineers and program managers.
• Supporting the existing code base and diagnosing support issues.
• Participating in daily stand-up meetings.
• Review and implement design created by system analyst
• Write high quality unit tested code
• Peer review other developers' code
• Interact with product management and team lead to provide effort estimate
• Provide dev-level support, interact with clients to identify and resolve issues
• Review documentation

Required Skills and Experiences

• 4+ years of experience as a developer
• Expertise in: .Net, C#, Web API 2, Angular JS and upwards with Visual Studio
• Experience in MVC, will be good
• Experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS Framework
• Knowledge of Cassendra, Rabit MQ
• Knowledge of multiple jQuery frameworks like AngularJSetc.
• Knowledge of Angular (7+), Kubernetes, Azure Service Fabric, Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of AGILE/SCRUM/Iterative
• Knowledge of Project SDLC and processes
• Well versed with practical OOPs concepts and demonstrates workable knowledge of the same.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team required
  
  Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred.
