Lionbridge is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager, to be based in London, UK.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager based in London with a Digital Marketing background that is an experienced and driven person. The SPM role will be responsible for day-to day management of complex programs and overall responsibility for managing a team that delivers excellence to our customers.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one or more complex programs. The role requires class-leading customer engagement involving strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to empathise with and respond to customers' needs, problem-solving skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-moving, rapidly-changing environment. Collaboration with multi-location and cross-functional teams will be key, particularly with our Global Delivery Centres, technology services and management teams to maintain and improve customer satisfaction, revenue and margin.

As well as driving Customer Success, a key focus will be to act as an advocate for new services including SEO and SEM, driving global content strategy and marketing activities for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as first point of contact for new clients within the Customer Org. Forge strong relationship with the customer interfaces, understand the client team dynamic, their business goals, priorities and challenges.
  • Manage publishing activities on a global scale and engagement with market owners
  • Actively lead pre-sales effort to win and on-board new customer, leveraging own experience and the experience from supporting teams within Lionbridge
  • Own and maintain project financials, including revenue recognition, revenue forecasting and billings
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules and processes to maximize efficiency and profitability for one or more complex programs
  • Bring the accounts to a new level of delivery, bring high level of value add to the account - improved processes, innovation, efficiencies, ensuring your team consistently exceed quality standards
  • Participate in customer requirements planning and ensure that account teams are aligned with current and future customer requirements. Drive Quarterly Business Review [QBR] processes together with the client. Focus on upselling and optimisation during weekly and quarterly meetings
  • Overall responsibility for the timely flow of all account project actions from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects meet quality, turn-around time and budget expectations
  • Contribute to global initiatives, meetings and process and system enhancements for one or more complex programs
  • Set objectives and training requirements for PMs in the team and coach and help them to achieve growth and development in their role. Deliver input for formal performance reviews to upper management
  • Monitor daily work and performance of PMs in the GDCs and assist with development plans for team members. Address inadequate and reinforce good performance
  • Participate in development of SLA and SOW docs as well as RFP processes

Key SKills required
  • 3rd Level degree in Business / Marketing or relevant experience
  • Digital Agency & Localisation experience would be beneficial
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in a Web Publishing or similar environment
  • Knowledge of Web Publishing and Content Management systems would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of E-commerce would be preferential
  • Top-class communication skills, both written and verbal. Verbal to include internal and external situations i.e. a) small-group face-to-face and online meetings and b) presentations to larger groups.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to function productively and proactively in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity while ensuring that challenging delivery timelines are met.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Fluency in additional language(s) would be a significant advantage.
