Lionbridge (UK) Ltd are looking for a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d), to join their team in Berlin, Germany.

This role is part home-based and part client site.

+ The Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) is fully accountable for the Operation and Delivery of the assigned Project(s). They will manage administrative and operational elements of the project(s) ensuring customer satisfaction whilst meeting contractual, financial and delivery goals.

+ This is a key customer interfacing role. The Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) leads a project organisation of Managers, Technical Authors/Editors who will work across a range of manuals and deliverables to ensure ultimate delivery of the identified project(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Customer Relationship: Manage customer relationships and serve as the primary day-to day contact.

+ Scope Management: Identify and manage changes to the project scope ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

+ Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules to achieve on time deliveries in line with contractual KPI's.

+ Cost Management: Plan and monitor project costs/budget, to maximise profitability and deliver to financial targets.

+ Quality Management: Ensure all quality requirements are implemented and KPI metrics are met.

+ Human Resource Management: Manage and develop employee's performance against key objectives, policies and procedures to obtain maximum effectivity.

+ Communication Management: Develop and implement a communication plan for the project including external and internal reporting.

+ Risk Management: Identify project risks and manage or escalate as appropriate.

Accountability

+ Financial Reporting to stakeholders and senior management, including revenue and cost forecasting.

+ Correct and prompt invoicing against contractual milestones.

+ Develop and maintain process and quality levels in line with contractual and ISO Standards.

+ Ensure employees continued development to meet individual objectives.

+ Motivate and coach project teams, identify training needs.

+ Maintain all project records for reporting and audit purposes.

+ Monitoring and control of project risks.

+ Manage and drive project in-line with other strategic business requirements and initiatives.

Qualifications/skills

+ Proven Project Management experience, preferably in a related field or appropriate industry.

+ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

+ Must be familiar with basic email and internet communications.

+ Good written and verbal communication skills in both English & German.

+ Proven people management skills, including: team building, conflict resolution, employee engagement.

+ Adaptable and have proactive approach to work.

+ Resourceful, confident and proven ability to take initiative.

+ Strong communication skills.
