Lionbridge is looking to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager, to join our Life Science team based in The Netherlands.
The role: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for several accounts and works with internal and external teams to manage the timely flow of all localization project actions from initiation to delivery, ensuring that accounts meet quality, turn-around time and budget expectations.
Client Services Management:
Works within an environment of continuous improvement in areas of account management with a primary focus on delivery for assigned accounts and meeting customer requirements.
Work with Sales to help clients plan & execute translation strategies and work with assigned global delivery teams to prepare for efficiently and effectively managing this work.
Work closely with GPM to measure account performance based on customer and sales feedback, and continually evaluate KPIs.
When required work with GPM support RFI/RFP responses and assisting with margin analysis and resource requirements
Partner with the Sales Team to drive revenue growth and to successfully convert strategic opportunities
Review and report on all account costs, actual and projected - to successfully achieve target margins and budgets.
Systematically (re)evaluate operating models to ensure maximum efficiency for assigned accounts.
Approve quotes (>$25K) and account plans from members of the account team.
In partnership with the Sales Team, provide revenue forecast input to weekly/monthly operations forecast and annual budget for assigned program(s)
Responsible for financials, which includes budgeting, revenue recognition, invoicing and accounts receivable
Operations & Production Management:
Responsible for the day-to-day client operations of the account and ownership for the commitment of the project process.
Work with GDC project managers assigned to client accounts and systematically monitor quality and delivery performance to ensure defined customer needs are consistently met.
Ensure the supply and capacity of internal and third-party resources match the evolving volume needs of the business.
Work in partnership with Global Delivery Centers to ensure adequate feedback is supplied for resources assigned to the account(s).
Contribute to regular resource allocation meetings with GPM, monitoring functional loads, developing resource optimization and workflow plans.
Partner with community management to manage localization vendor relations, driving up quality, efficiency in parallel with cost-efficient sourcing.
Success Measures & Metrics:
Determine and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to target revenue, profitability, quality, on-time delivery.
Evaluate and report on performance against customer expectation and company averages.
Ensure all CAPA records, root cause analyses, and corrective actions are up to date, and ensure resolutions are accurately tracked and followed up on.
Global Partnership Building:
Partner with peers and global sites to leverage and measure the performance of mutually beneficial best practices.
Other duties as assigned by GPM, Director of Operations or VP/General Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
BA/BS required. Advanced business degree preferred (Masters a plus)
Four years' experience in project management, program management, localization
One years' Life Science industry experience (in localization a plus)
Account development experience
A level of client exposure
Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong negotiating skills
Proven leadership skills
Strong presentation skills
