Senior Language Coordinator is a pre-expert position in the Language Services environment. Person hired on this position provides linguistic support to project teams and translators all over the world, focused on the quality of our services and the customer satisfaction.
Fluent knowledge of English language (knowledge of any other language will be considered as an asset);
At least 1 year of professional experience in the language/localization/translation industry;
Good understanding of CAT tools (working knowledge of at least one CAT tool will be an asset);
University degree, preferably in Philology/Linguistics;
Developed computer skills, particularly Windows and the MS Office environment;
Ability to learn new computer programs quickly;
Proactivity and curiosity (asking good questions, coming up with solution ideas);
Responsible approach to assigned tasks, accuracy and flexibility;
Ability to cooperate with a team, external partners and vendors, and to coordinate the work of others;
Ability to work in an organized way, multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Everyday support of language quality activities in multi-language localization projects;
Performing and supervising an automated quality checks using localization software;
Acting as a linguistic consultant for project teams, managing query databases and answering linguistic queries from translators;
Making sure that our translators can work efficiently by creating, editing and maintaining support materials such as translation memories, glossaries, style guides, instructions, and reference materials;
Supporting the improvement of localization processes, maintaining CAT/QA tools and resources.
