Lionbridge is looking to hire an experienced Senior Software Developer, to be based remotely in the UK, based on a 12 month fixed term contract.

We are looking for an experienced Java developer to join our Application Web Development team to work on a wide variety of software development projects. If you enjoy solving interesting problems and might even have experience in the full stack, we would like to talk with you.
What You Will Do:
Be involved with new development, enhancement support and maintenance of the applications;
Implement new features and debug/rectify anomalies;
Provide leadership in architecture design;
Participate in all aspects of development cycle with primary focus on design, code, test, and maintenance;
Analyze requirements to determine approach and proposed solution;
Build and deploy application components to various environments when required;
Work with business sponsors to help gather requirements;
Communicate to all stake-holders and colleagues about planned changes;
Ensure code produced by the team is functional, scalable, and error-free.
To Be Successful You Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field and proven experience in the offered role or in server-side Java-based application development;
Must have demonstrated experience with: Java, spring, Hibernate, Junit, Mockito, Mavan, Jboss, GIT, MySQL, PostgressSQL, Eclipse, Intellij, Splunk, JMeter;
Java Related Frameworks experience: Spring MVC, Spring Test, Spring Security, Spring Boot;
Database Related experience: Informix or other RDMS, Postgres, MongoDB (or similar), Mybatis, Hibernate (or similar);
UI Framework experience: Bootstrap;
Front End Frameworks: AngularJS 1.5+; Vue.js;
Test Related Frameworks: Spring Test, Junit, Jasmine, karma;
System Build Tool/Dependency Management: maven, gradle, grunt, node.js.
