An exciting opportunity has opened in Lionbridge to fulfil the role of Regional IT Manager - Europe within Lionbridge's End User Services organization.

This role will be responsible for leading multiple teams across Europe, from Warsaw to Dublin, and will be a critical leading player in our Global End User Services team, which stretches from Beijing to Boise.

  • Partner with our business customers in understanding and delivering our solutions to their best advantage in a competitive and fast-moving marketplace.
  • Work within existing metrics and SLA's and be constantly developing new ones to further enhance and develop the service that we provide to our end-users
  • Instil and foster a sense of continuous improvement within your team and also partnering with your peers globally
  • Be a champion for compliance, ensuring all computer endpoints meet our compliance goals.
  • Work on ensuring that our systems are stable, secure, forward thinking, efficient and cost effective.
  • Proactively manage your infrastructure environment in line with global standards and policies
  • Partner and collaborate with various stakeholders both inside and outside the IT organisation within Lionbridge to support the delivery of the company goals and objectives.
  • Plan and deliver a roadmap for your organisation both technically and from a people management perspective.
  • Stay abreast of current technologies in the marketplace and apply those learnings to the Lionbridge organisation
  • Ensure any escalations as well as Major Incidents are handled promptly and in an efficient manner.
  • Lead and manage various projects both within your region, but also globally with the End User Services team in order to further enhance and develop the services we provide.


To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years' relevant experience in a leadership capacity, within an IT organization.
  • Experience leading, guiding and mentoring a remote team.
  • Broad experience supporting a Microsoft environment - Windows 10 desktop, Windows 2012/2016/2019 Server and M365.
  • Good understanding of networking (LAN & WAN) is desirable.
  • IT Service Management experience and certification such as ITIL 4 is desirable.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A proven ability to instil and reinforce a customer service ethic within the IT team.
  • Previous experience in a global setting is essential.
