Quality coordinator - Linguist Language (Tamil)

We are looking for a Language Quality Coordinator. This role involves direct client and vendor communications, working within a global team, with PM/PC/PA support..

Requirements
Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the client receives superior standards of service as a representative of a key vendor partner
  • All standard aspects of interfacing with client companies including Status reporting customized to the client's needs
  • A high level of reporting back to vendor management
  • Ensure consistency across the program, suggest and share best practices
  • Initiate process improvements where appropriate, develop the program further
  • Provide support & partnership to the program counterpart on the client's side
  • Oversee the Localization QC process bridging the work of internal stakeholders (regional & local) with global suppliers
  • Help drive quality & consistency across all consumer touchpoints through the implementation of copywriting & localization

best practices to ensure a unified TOV for the Brand
  • Review/assess the overall quality & accuracy of Content in the region in order to identify opportunities for

improvement & optimization; act as an arbiter for any language issues that arise between internal stakeholders &
partners/suppliers
  • Constantly share key insights & information on seasonal campaigns, stories, taglines, etc. with suppliers to ensure

quality of deliverables
  • Train suppliers to ensure the highest-quality consumer experience for the localization of original content
  • Build & maintain relationships with key internal and external localization stakeholders & suppliers
  • Analyze delivery metrics to identify consumer insights, trends, diagnose issues & reinforce copy & quality standards

via glossary, style guide, etc.
  • Effectively communicate project updates cross-functionally


Requirements
  • Experience & confidence working in a vendor supply environment with a Global client
  • Degree or Masters in Translation, Business, Localization or relevant field
  • A minimum of 3 years project management experience working in Localization
  • Experience working with a team of onsite & offsite linguists
  • Above & beyond type communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solution orientated problem solver with excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
  • An interest in sports and outdoor activities an advantage
  • Fluent English, ability to speak other languages a bonus
  • Knowledge of standard Localization tools suits
