We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to independently lead complex localization projects for strategic accounts as well as manage customer relationship with key stakeholders.

  • Be the primary interface with client's Asia contacts locally during the on-boarding phase, working closely with Lionbridge Global Operations teams to ensure a smooth implementation
  • Day-to-day, first point of contact for client's local customer contacts as they grow
  • Regular (bi-weekly ideally) on-site visits and attendance at ad-hoc meetings supporting the 3M Global Account team (as required)
  • Act as the liaison between Global Account team & Operations team
  • Ensure timely communication with customer & clear delivery of client challenges / action points
  • Ensure Global team is aware of any specific elements which may have a wider global impact to the Client
  • Provide regular feedback to the Global Operations & Account teams to support on-boarding activity
  • Ensure global best practices are adopted in real-time
  • Drive and attend Quarterly Business Review meetings with client's Asia contacts supported by Global Account Teams
  • Manage the communications regarding Quality Validation working with the Global Ops team
  • Be able to recognize the needs of client's Asia contacts and how to execute accordingly aligned to the wider Global program to leverage optimization for the account globally
  • Work with the client's Internal teams to help define project scope, manage scope creep, efficiencies and ensure quality standards are achieved and consistently exceeded - identify areas of issue within client's organization that may present challenges for us to deliver to agreed standards and levels
  • Manage hand-offs with client's Asia contacts and support the Global Ops teams with training sessions / query management from client contacts


Essential
  • 5+ years Localization Project Management experience
  • Foreign language skills would be a plus
  • Strong customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skill
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with translation technology software
  • Ability to occasionally travel to client site
