Job Description/Summary

In the role of Manager/Drafting Team Lead provide personal expertise and experience to the team members along with helping them complete active assignments. Ensure that work assignments are assigned to respective team members, and that respective assignments are completed in a timely fashion in compliance with Corporate and Industry Standards. Along with this, perform drafting work as needed to ensure assignments stay on track for their respective completion dates.

Perform meetings with customers to discuss work agreements, assignments, and provide feedback on ongoing assignments. This will include assignment time frames and any issues that may affected the agreed upon time frame. Knowledge or understanding of Industry standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO, Etc.) will be encouraged in order to be able to provide team members with adequate knowledge of application of respective standard. Ability to understand and apply technical document information and be able to provide resources and training for team members.

What You Will Do

• Drafting Related PO's and Self-Regulated Employee's PO's
• "Keep Track of PO's and Ongoing Charges
• Manage Employees:
• Run Reports for Active/Ongoing PO's
• Meeting/Discussion with Customer on PO's
• PO Creation
  • Submit Forms to get Agreed upon Quote/PO entered into the Billing system
  • Provide Billing/Charge Numbers to respective Employees.
• Help Employees being Managed with:
  • Reaching out to HR
  • Filling Out Timesheets (when needed)
  • Access any Training Related to Job, or software needed for to perform duties
    

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD).
  
• Journeyman experience (10-15 years) in CAD with certification by the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA).|
  

Knowledge in Software below is encouraged:

• Creo 4.0 and Higher
• Windchill
• Microsoft Office Suite
  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint.
• AutoCad 2017
• PDF editors

Knowledge in Subjects below is encouraged:

• Drafting per ASME Y14.5-2009 or Equivalent
• GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009 or Equivalent
• Current Industry Manufacturing standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO)
• Understanding of General Mechanics and Engineering

• General Mathematics
