POSITION SUMMARY

PROJECT MANAGER

The Project Manager (PM) is focused on building mutually beneficial business relationships with our customers, which help them solve their business challenges and allow Lionbridge to grow its own business with these customers. The PM is responsible for managing projects with high complexity for strategic customers and works closely with the customers to manage expectations and advices on optimal workflows. The role requires class-leading customer engagement involving strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to empathize with and respond to customers' needs, problem-solving skills, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-moving, rapidly-changing environment. Collaboration with multi-location and cross-functional teams will be key, particularly with our Global Delivery Centers, technology services and management teams to create maximum value and high satisfaction for the customers, improve revenue and margin while meeting company and project specific financial goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Engage with customers to recognize their business needs and challenges and proactively focus on meeting these needs through innovative thinking and collaboration with internal teams
  • Lead global teams to execute on defined solutions across all service offerings
  • Manage projects with high complexity for strategic customers, and plan and monitor programs to meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirements
  • Work with internal teams to define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects
  • Be aware of, and actively seek out new opportunities for increasing revenue
  • Review customer satisfaction regularly and focus on meeting and exceeding customers' expectations
  • Collaborate with our sales team to ensure customer retention and growth
  • Own and maintain project financials, including financial analysis, revenue recognition, revenue forecasting, margin improvement and invoicing
  • Focus on continuous improvements and cost savings through offshoring, automation, and utilization of global skillsets within Lionbridge
  • Collaborate with our tech team to drive optimization through automation and innovative technical solutions to improve workflows and production processes
  • Drive Quarterly Business Review meetings with the customers. Focus on upselling and optimization during weekly and quarterly meetings
  • Take on site expert roles for specific areas
  • Act as mentor for junior project managers


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • 3-5 years' experience as a project manager, ideally in a localization or similar environment
  • University degree in business/marketing or other relevant degree
  • Strong customer facing skills and ability to work with enterprise customers with complex business setups and many stakeholders
  • Top-class verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of financial concepts (gross margin, budgets etc.) as well as overall P&L profitability parameters and company financial targets
  • Technical experience in the field and general proficiency with tools and systems
  • Commercial approach to problem solving
  • Strategic & analytical thinking with the ability to analyze new and changing scenarios and adapt the workflow to the new requirements
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, results-oriented culture
  • Organizational skills, able to build and motivate teams, schedule, delegate, negotiate and solve conflicts
  • Creative, positive, proactive, and solution-oriented thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
  • Fluency in English and Swedish or Danish is mandatory
