Payroll Specialist

Scope of Responsibilities:
  • cooperating with external payroll provider on payroll delivery and salary payments to employees and contractors
  • collecting and delivering all necessary payroll data to external payroll provider
  • receiving and reviewing payroll lists from external payroll provider
  • ensuring timely and accurate payroll payments
  • solving all employee's and contractors' payroll related enquiries
  • preparing employee's remuneration certificates on request
  • preparing ad hoc payroll reports, analysis on request
  • ensuring timely and accurately payments of payroll related contributions and taxes
  • posting payroll related journals in accounting system for USGAAP reporting purposes
  • balance sheet reconciliations of payroll related general ledger accounts
  • delivering payroll data to external statutory accounting provider
  • close cooperation with HR department
  • taking part in payroll related projects, simplification initiatives
  • other ad-hoc duties


Requirements:
  • experienced (min. 2-3 years) Payroll Specialist
  • advanced Business English and good communication skills
  • good knowledge of Płatnik, HRB payroll system
  • knowledge of Social Insurance Act, Personal Income Tax Act, Act on cash benefits from social insurance
  • experience in cooperating with ADP payroll provider would be an advantage
  • strong practical knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • proactive and organized self-starter who can work as an individual contributor and as part of cross functional team
  • attention to detail and accuracy are essential
  • flexibility and enthusiastic attitude are essential
