Paid Media Program Manager

The Paid Media Program Manager will provide structure and overall vision on our projects. You are innately curious and ready to dig deep into operational and performance processes, systems and data to assess current performance, identify improvement opportunities and provide fact-based insights that enable us to introduce process, systems and performance improvements by simplifying complex cross-organizational systems to improve efficiency.

The Paid Media Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing multiple projects and deliverables within the Paid Media organization. Within that role, you may be responsible for managing the activities of one or more subject matter experts. You will interface heavily with client senior executives, regional marketing teams, brand and digital marketing teams, and Cisco's paid media agencies to ensure that solutions are understood and address business requirements. In addition, as a primary member of the Global Paid Media team, the Program Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with regional and agency teams, and with other Cisco groups.

What you will do:

  • Direct the development and delivery of Paid Media projects.
  • Develop and maintain all project deliverables including project charters, budgets, project plans, issues logs, change orders etc.
  • Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and agency meetings.
  • Manage and control project scope and the change control process.
  • Ensure that projects complete according to schedule and within budget.
  • Manage project budgets, including resource hours and overall project financials.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is produced in the standard format.
  • Follow internal documentation processes; and review/approve prior to delivery.
  • Act as the point-of-contact for all project related issues.

To be successful you will have:

  • At least 7-10 years' experience managing multiple large, complex and cross-functional projects; preferably in a consulting or B2B environment.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Having a PMP Certification is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans & specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort communicating at all levels; from executives to project teams.
  • A demonstrated ability to motivate staff/project teams, inspire teamwork and take a leadership role.
  • Excellent teammate, who values other views and can earn regional and agency confidence quickly and exert influence.
  • Working knowledge of contract interpretation, negotiation and management.
  • The ability to operate effectively in a high demand, rapidly shifting / fluid environment
  • Familiarity working with global teams and environments.
