The Localization Engineering Service provide standalone, objective, non-linguistic engineering activities distinct from but supporting activities required by the Translation or Linguistic Services. Localization Engineering tasks are typically event or volume driven and are specific to the localization environment and tooling used.
Service Request management:
Communicate with requestor to make correct understand of the request.
Provide support from the technologies.
Prepare the instruction to linguist on the loclisation request.
Bug management:
Triage and investigate bugs
Fix bugs
Provide support to fix translation bugs
Prepare bug fixing instructions to be package for jobs
Monitor and ensure bugs are actioned upon and resolved based on SLA
Occasional build installs for bug investigation and validation
