English to Japanese Language Lead - Lionbridge Games
This is a key role in game localization that involves various processes such as translation, voice recording, and managing the quality of content. We are looking for someone to join our team to help create Japanese versions of various popular titles that are loved by many players.
Responsibilities

Now we are looking for qualified candidates to review and control multiple linguistic tasks with worldwide team members to produce quality outcomes.
Role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To translate, review and audit all linguistic tasks for localization
Work closely with other linguists, project managers, and translation team to ensure high standards of linguistic quality in all projects.
To complete all linguistic tasks of an assigned project in a quality and timely manner.
To perform quality assurance tasks to ensure the integrity of the deliverable including consistency of linguistic glossaries, terminology, style, layout and aesthetics.
Adhere to document quality standards, style guides and client-specific checklists.
To ensure the quality of responsible projects meet both Lionbridge standard and Client's requirements.
Support and leading junior members to achieve team objectives.
Requirements
2 years of professional experience in translations or localization industry.
Proficient in both Japanese and English.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
Able to work independently, quick-learner, detail-oriented, quality-focused, and proactive.
Game player and passionate about games.
Knowledge of game industry and development cycle.
Experience in Game localization and audio recording projects is a plus.
Bachelor or higher degree in language/linguistics is a plus.
Residency in Japan or the capability to work within Japan's local time.
