Language Lead is an expert position in the Language Services environment, it's a localization specialist providing linguistic support to customers, project teams and translators all over the world, focused on the quality of our services and the customer satisfaction. Please note that it is a fully remote position.
Fluent German - at least B2/C1 level ;
Highly developed computer skills, particularly Windows and MS Office environment;
Working knowledge of at least one CAT tool;
At least two years of professional experience in the language/localization industry;
University degree, preferably in Philology/Linguistics;
Ability to learn new computer programs quickly;
Responsible and proactive approach to assigned tasks, accuracy and flexibility;
Ability to cooperate with a team, external partners/vendors and clients;
Capability to work under the pressure in a dynamic working environment;
Organizational skills, the ability to work in a systematic way and to meet deadlines.
Everyday support of language quality activities in multi-language localization projects;
Ensure that all the tasks assigned to the team meet the customer requirements within the specified deadlines;
Act as a linguistic consultant for the team and customers, manage query databases and answer queries from translators;
Make sure that our translators can work efficiently by creating, editing and maintaining support materials such as translation memories, glossaries, style guides, instructions and reference materials;
Constantly improve the localization process, maintain the CAT/QA tools and resources.
